Amazing innit. I found this one in the public loo's beneath Great Portland Street underground station, and frankly we've become firm friends recently - it's got me out of a few sticky wickets. The decor...well you don't get more 70's than those tiles but then the toilets are really well kept, by most standards anyway so i can only assume they're well loved by us patrons. Another wall mounted siphon (thanks James lol) with a good chain - i'm still a big fan of that. It's so much more gratifying than those button push things.I really don't think i'd like to come here when it's dark outside though...

That toilet has an Armitage Shanks bowl and by the looks of it a Shires cistern! The siphon isn't bell though this time, it's normal.

Decor isn't very nice ...

I like the high levels much better than any other flushing system aswell.

Does that say " jock fack me" ? on the wall? I cant quite make it out, and yes the decor is like my nans old house at Conway road!

They were cheapskates with the tiles only putting them on the one wall :O

I like the pattern of this wall paper. But I notice that it doesn't have a bog cover?

Most public toilets don't have a lid, and I also noticed the paper isn't in a case. That's considered very unhygenic in public toilets! :o

Yeah its quite possible that this toilet paper may have been snotted on and simply roled back onto the roll..its rare I come across a toilet with paper like this thesedays

Beautiful cistern. It's the last batch of high level Shires cisterns.

From the tiles,it looks like this toilet belongs to the 1980s era.The Shires cistern and the sitting Armitage Shanks are from the mid 1980s.

Really a beautiful toilet. How I wish I can flush it.

Very clean public toilet,it seems that the public follow the proper using of toilet and they keep the place orderly before they leave.

Although the pictures are quite raw and I am not big fan of toilet pictures, but still nice post. I want to ask that are the portable toilets hygienic to use?
